logoCamp OUTdoors! is dedicated to helping LGBTQAI+ youth develop leadership skills, work in collaborative ways, and develop a strong sense of self and community! We are based in Phoenix and Prescott Arizona, with collaborative partners throughout the state and country.

At Camp OUTdoors! LGBTQAI+ youth find empowerment in a safe and fun outdoor summer camp environment!  We use minimal technology at camp and focus our efforts on good old fashion face to face communication! Camp activities vary and evolve each year and range from educational workshops on topics like “LGBTQ History” and “Non- Violent Communication” to community activities like our 250 person drum circle, horseback riding, and zip-lining! At OUTdoors! we believe that the true empowerment comes from within an individual, we are here to support and facilitate that process! Please feel free to get to know us better by browsing our website or contacting us directly. We hope to see you, in the great OUTdoors!

“Camp OUTdoors! is my source of strength during everyday life. It is what I feed off of when I am down and feeling the pressures of being a lesbian in a too small town. I learned that I am worth something, that no matter where you come from or who you are you can fit in. I learned that there are so many stories like mine and that I do have a community out in the world that loves me. I learned how to be strong and to inspire others to hold on. I learned how to make others know that they are worth something.” -2013 Out Of State returning applicant
